Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst at ESGpedia, you will play a key role in advancing sustainability reporting by supporting the preparation of various sustainability data points and analyzing environmental data from companies across various industries. This role is essential to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and usability of emissions data, enabling credible Scope 1, 2, and 3 reporting. Your insights will directly contribute to ESGpedia’s mission of building a transparent and standardized ESG data ecosystem that drives climate accountability.
Job Responsibilities
Your core responsibilities:
- Define and implement data collection and validation logic for optimal scalability and performance with automation
- Work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to understand analytical needs and deliver actionable insights to our end users
- Provide technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining and data cleaning
- Deliver Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards that visualize analytical results
- Collaborate on AI-related projects to extract, analyse, and gather data for advanced analytics and reporting tasks.
Requirements
- >1 years of experience as a Data Analyst. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven analytical skills such as data mining, evaluation, analysis and visualization
- Demonstrated experience in handling data in relational and NoSQL databases
- Detail oriented and data driven, strong in problem solving skills
- Proficient in SQL and Python
- Proficient with the use of MS Excel, Powerpoint, Word
