Singapore, 31 May 2023 – Asia’s leading Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) data and technology company, STACS, is pleased to announce it has entered into an agreement with LMS Compliance Ltd. (“LMS Compliance”), to explore possible collaborations on ESG-related data. Under the agreement, both parties would identify opportunities for enabling ESG-related data on STACS’s ESGpedia platform.
LMS Compliance’s agreement with STACS ESGpedia to explore ESG-related data collaborations comes at an opportune time in light of surging demand for sustainability reporting services, as regulators step up reporting requirements by listed companies and large organisations. For example, to advance climate reporting in Singapore, the Sustainability Reporting Advisory Committee (SRAC) has issued key recommendations that include mandatory climate reporting from FY2025 for all listed issuers, and mandatory climate reporting from FY2027 for large non-listed companies with annual revenue of at least S$1 billion.
Both LMS Compliance and STACS ESGpedia are collaborating to digitally empower LMS Compliance’s ecosystem of companies to embark on sustainability reporting, as well as to further increase the comprehensiveness of the ESG database on ESGpedia. It is of critical importance that comprehensive, transparent, and accurate data of companies is available for corporates and financial institutions to manage their supply chain sustainability and offer green financial products effectively.
