Growth Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated and data-savvy Growth Engineer to join our team. This is a unique, hybrid role at the intersection of product, marketing, and engineering. You will be responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and executing technical projects that directly impact key business metrics such as user acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization.
This role is not about building new features from scratch, but rather about optimizing the existing user journey. You will work across the entire funnel, from the initial user visit to their long-term engagement with the product. Job Responsibilities
- Experimentation: Design, build, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to improve conversion rates across our website, marketing campaigns, and product onboarding flows.
- Full-Stack Development: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code across our stack (e.g., Frontend technologies like React.js, Backend technologies like Node.js, Python, Databases like AWS DynamoDB, MariaDB, MongoDB).
- Data Analysis: Work closely with our data and product teams to analyze user behavior, identify key drop-off points, and propose technical solutions to address them. You will be comfortable with SQL and data visualization tools.
- Tooling & Automation: Implement and integrate third-party growth tools and build custom automation scripts to improve operational efficiency.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks that are impacting our growth goals, such as website load times and API response speeds.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product and project management, and sales to align on growth priorities and execute a shared roadmap.
- Ownership: Take full ownership of projects from ideation to deployment and analysis, including monitoring performance and iterating on solutions.
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree in IT or experience
- At least 2 years of relevant experience working as a full stack or backend developer
- Experience working in a high-growth startup environment
- Experience with AWS is a plus
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
